The markets apparently decided to take a four day holiday starting today and rolling through Memorial Day. Today, the DOW lost 2 points, the S&P gained a fraction, and the NASDAQ managed to add 4 points to close at 6210.
Notable stocks going higher today by more that 1% included Disney, Nordstrom, General Motors, NVidia, and Costco. The VIX fell to 9,81, Gold added 10 to $1,270 an ounce, and Crude oil rose to 49.75 a barrel.
